The Royal Cheshire County Show has welcomed Knutsford-based Delamere Dairy as principal partner, sponsoring the main ring, for the third successive year. The company has been involved with the show for many years.
Delamere Dairy started life thirty-four years ago, in Delamere Forest, when Liz and Roger Sutton bought their first three goats.
Today, headquartered in Knutsford, the company is an internationally recognised brand, supplying an extensive range of speciality goat and cow’s milk-based products to retail, wholesale and independent customers across the UK and to more than twenty markets around the globe.
Managing director, Ed Salt, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Royal Cheshire County Show for another year. It’s a great opportunity for us to get out and speak to our customers within the Cheshire community and beyond. We have been involved with the show for a number of years, and it’s an event we look forward to each year, welcoming back familiar customers to our stand.”
Awarded the coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2016 for its international trade achievements, the Cheshire company contracts goat farms across England. It operates a strict, independently-monitored, farm assurance and welfare code to guarantee the best milk from healthy, happy animals and they supply 40% of the UK goat product market.
Show director of the Cheshire Agricultural Society CIO, Rob Davenport, added: “I am very pleased that Delamere Dairy will be the show’s principal sponsor of the main ring for a third year. We have an action-packed two days planned for the main ring, which will thrill the crowds.”
