Corporate event agency, Make Events, is moving from its current base at Stanley Green Business Park to a new location in Wilmslow.
With a client list that includes Tomas Cook, PUMA and Auto Trader, Make Events will be more than doubling its workspace when it moves into the last remaining wing at Orbit Development’s Bollin House next month.Make Events MD, Holly More (centre), and team on the move into Wilmslow
Founder and MD, Holly Moore, said: “We have kept lean for the last six years and grown in a considered and stable manner. We have now built up enough resilience to be able to give our team the ultimate office experience as well as our customers.”
Adam Jackson, senior leasing surveyor at Orbit Developments added: “Make Events is a successful business and we are delighted to be able to find it new accommodation to support the next phase of its expansion. Ambitious fit out plans will create an amazing space in which to grow.”
Award-winning interior designer Toni Horsfield has been appointed to facilitate the move: “Holly’s vision for the space has been clear from the start. I think it is going to be an extremely creative workspace with some very happy colleagues.”
In order to provide the ultimate experience for employees, clients and suppliers, Make Events’ newly dubbed ‘House of Make’ will be a collaborative, cool office designed to increase employee enjoyment, attract new talent and boost creativity.
As part of growth plans Make Events has appointed Catherine Godsland, former MD of Out There Events. Catherine will be joining the business on a consultative basis to support its expansion and account development ambitions, whilst also being a mentor to the team.
