Chartered accountancy and business advisory firm Langricks has announced two key appointments in a proactive strategy for growth in 2018.

Andrew Milnes joins the Wilmslow-based practice as a non-executive director to help develop and improve the business, after owning and growing Hurst Accountants, a similar independent accountancy company, to a top 100 firm.

Mike Bowker has been appointed to director from associate director to boost day to day provision of financial management services for a range of clients.  He joined the business in 2010.

Managing director, Chris Langrick, said the goal is to become a top 100 UK accountancy firm in the next 10 years and these were key appointments on that journey: “Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on how to build an independent firm and grow a profitable, sustainable business, having done it for 25 years at Hurst and established it as one of the best independent accountancy practices in the North West.

Mike’s appointment to director is also a significant development. He has been with us seven years and is highly familiar with our culture and drive for service excellence. He will provide operational leadership across our customer service areas, taking over some of my day-to-day responsibilities to allow me to expand our advisory work.” www.langricks.com
