Knutsford beauty salon, Roberta Beauty Redefined, celebrates its 10th anniversary later this month.
The salon, run by owner, Roberta Dyer, first opened its doors on 8 December 2008 and, since then, the business has grown significantly, moving to new, larger premises on Minshull Street last December.
“When I started the business with my mum, Sue Bradley, in 2008, it was just the two of us sat there waiting for the phone to ring. Now, the salon has grown beyond belief; we have a fabulous new home in the heart of Knutsford and employ seven members of staff.”
Roberta’s team provides a wide range of health and beauty treatments, including massage, facials, spray tans, threading, face mapping, waxing and nails. Passionate about skincare, Roberta offers customised Dermalogica skincare treatments from therapists who have trained at the International Dermal Institute.
A team of specialists offers clients a complete head-to-toe experience.
Roberta plans to celebrate her landmark anniversary with a soirée for clients on Friday 23 November. As well as mouth-watering canapés from local business, the Market Café and fizz from independent wine merchant, Morgan Edwards, there will be a raffle with some fantastic prizes, unmissable special offers on products and Christmas gifts and live music to get everyone in the party mood.
“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with my lovely clients, many of whom have been with me from the beginning,” said Roberta.
Looking ahead to the next ten years, Roberta plans to take on additional staff, would like to continue to play an active part in Knutsford’s thriving community and wants to help people focus more on their health and well-being.
“We live in a busy, modern word and I want to help people disconnect from technology and encourage them to engage more in touch and relaxation.”
