For the benefit of local students ready to progress to further education or exploring their options, Abbey College Manchester is hosting a valuable webinar – ‘An Introduction to Abbey College Manchester’ – on Thursday 25 June at 10am.
Hosted by Liz Elam and Chris Randell, Principal and Assistant Principal, the virtual event will provide an insight to the innovative and friendly college.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the unique courses available including the one year GCSE programme and one and two year A-Level programme and the combined studies programme which is accepted by universities as an alternative pathway to A-Level, and the International Foundation Programme.Liz Elam
The digital event will also explore the college’s boarding accommodation and extra-curricular activities available, and offer an insight to the university destinations of college graduates.
Liz Elam said: “As we have moved to online distance learning and virtual seminars, the format is proving to be very successful. We understand that despite all the current uncertainty, students still need to make important decisions about the next steps in their educational journey and as a college we want to provide them with as much information as we can, and in the safest way possible, to enable them to explore the varied options available to them.”
