Rhoda Peckitt, finance and HR manager at Meller Braggins, said: “This is definitely one of the most challenging things I have ever done, in fact none of us have ever attempted anything like this before, but it’s for such a fantastic cause that we want to push ourselves to reach our fundraising goal.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity close to all of our hearts; we’ve all been touched by cancer and truly appreciate the exceptional work they do for people going through such a tough time.”
Sarah Page, senior fundraising manager – Cheshire said: “Macmillan Cancer Support is 96% funded by donations from the public, so without the support from companies like Meller Braggins, we wouldn’t be able to provide the vital support to people affected by cancer that we currently do.
