Stephen, originally from Wigan is a keen mountain climber who enjoys outdoor activities with his family in his spare time.

As a result of increased demand for audit services at the firm, and to facilitate continued expansion, it was necessary to find a new partner who was capable of meeting the complex needs of our audit clients and Stephen fits the bill perfectly!

Stephen qualified as a chartered accountant in 2002 and has since specialised in audit management.

He joins Howard Worth after spending 15 years of his career heading up top ten accountancy firm, RSM Tenon’s (latterly Baker Tilly) audit team in Lancashire.  Stephen has a strong commercial focus and has extensive experience improving efficiencies for clients which he is looking forward to utilising when dealing with larger owner managed businesses and corporate clients.

Managing Partner, Richard Barnett said: “Having celebrated Howard Worth’s jubilee last year, we are eager to move forward with a strengthened team of partners to continue offering an excellent service to our clients, old and new. We were extremely fortunate to have found in Stephen a partner who implicitly shares our commitment to clients and the firm’s values.”
