The former head gardener’s cottage at Tatton Park is about to be transformed in to what is set to be one of the most attractive `tea rooms’ in the region. With planning permission in place and work well underway it is hoped that the Gardener’s Cottage will be open at the end of May.

For well over a century the cottage, located in Tatton’s attractive walled garden orchard, has been home to Tatton’s head gardener who enjoyed the privilege of living in this beautiful spot.
The menu will be designed to reflect this truly unique location, and will include relaxing specialty coffee, a variety of delicious light lunches and traditional afternoon tea.
Diners will choose from an innovative menu created by chefs who have the freshest of garden produce available right on their doorstep, in Tatton’s highly productive kitchen garden.

Produce will be sourced locally from the Tatton Park Estate and from carefully chosen suppliers from across Cheshire and the North West. The Gardener’s Cottage will create delicious menus using local ingredients including the best artisan breads and cheeses, Tatton venison and other local meats.
