Bright Sparks Open Electrical Shop

Two brothers with the surname ‘Spark’ have opened a new electrical store in Sale.

James and Matt Spark James and Matt Spark

Matt James Spark, bought the old Indespension, Trailer Centre, on Cross Street, turning it into Sparks Electrical Wholesales Ltd.

The shop is open to both the public and the trade offering a huge range of goods including luxury lighting.

Property developer Matt, 43, and sales manager James, 45, both worked in the building trade for many years before opening the door to Sparks recently.

James, said: “Like everyone else in Sale, we have been upset  to see the closure of local independent retailers over the past few years.

So, we wanted to give people an alternative to the big-name stores. We offer great quality products to the trade and retail, from first fix and distribution boards through to LED bulbs, smoke alarms and statement lighting at trade prices.”

The brothers are joined by father and son team Mark Stone, 47, and Jed Stone, 24.

Matt, said: “It’s great to be involved in another local start up business. We have sourced a fantastic range of products and recruited some incredibly knowledgeable staff. We hope to increase our customer base further in the coming months”

The shop on Cross Street has parking for 12 cars and is open Monday to Saturday. For more info check out: www.sparksew.co.uk
