A fully qualified chef from Winsford has turned her love of making cakes into a budding business with her new website receiving over 1000 hits in just a month and a string of orders!
Louise Stuart learnt the tricks of the trade by passing her NVQ level 2 and 3 in catering and hospitality and from watching her mum and nan who also loved baking.
Louise said, “My mum made and decorated birthday, celebration and wedding cakes for friends and family, which inspired me to go that one step further.
”I have been in catering ever since leaving school, including head chef at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, where I passed NVQ level 2 & 3 in catering and hospitality.
”I have been designing and decorating cakes for six years and decided to take my hobby and turn it into my work and I am thoroughly enjoying it.”
Louise can make any type of cake including birthday, christening, wedding, celebration and cupcakes to name just a few. Shaped cakes are also very popular with Louise making guitars, hiking boots, hairdryers and cameras.
