Applications are now open for the 2019 Salters Den competition.
If you are an entrepreneur, or business start-up, located in the Northwich or Winsford areas and you started trading on or after January 01, 2018, then you are eligible to enter.
Has your new business already preformed above expectations? Are you looking to expand? Would a cash injection and expert business mentoring and support help to take it to the next level? Have you got a great idea and business plan but need investment and advice to make it a reality?
Salters Den Judges 2019
By entering the Salters Den competition, you could gain vital funds and specialist advice that can make a real difference to the future of your business.
The amazing prize for the winner is £2,500 cash; one year’s free accountancy support and business advice from Howard Worth and legal mentoring from Moss Haselhurst Solicitors.
There are also rewards for second and third place with six months and three months support and mentoring respectively. The competition is open for entries from 1st August to the 1st November 2019.
Salters Den is organised by local businesses Howard Worth Chartered Accountants, Moss Haselhurst Solicitors with NatWest and Cheshire West and Chester Council.
This year’s judging panel includes two new faces, Robert Gore, solicitor and director at Moss Haselhurst and councillor Richard Beacham from Chester West and Cheshire Council.
With the competition now entering its fourth year, judging panel member and partner at Howard Worth, Chris Smith continues to be encouraged by the quantity of applications received and the quality of the new business started in the mid Cheshire area each year.
“When we first launched the Salters Den completion we didn’t know what to expect from the applicants. What we have assessed have been some fantastic and unique new businesses from passionate and driven entrepreneurs. It’s not just the previous winners of the competition that have been able to develop their businesses but many of those shortlisted really benefited from their experience and have made their business dreams a reality”.
