Knutsford-based Bexy Boo Designs, has enjoyed an incredible six months with an introduction to mainstream retail, a prestigious award win, international orders and ever-increasing demand for new designs and products.
Owner, Bex Hassett, runs the business from her home studio in Cheshire and sells bespoke, hand-finished greetings cards and gifts in shops across the UK, as well as through her website where orders have been received from all over the world.
Not only has the company tripled its turnover in the last six months, but Bexy Boo greetings cards and gifts are now stocked in retail outlets across the country with international orders rolling in and stock selling out within days.
Earlier this year, Bexy Boo won a prestigious title at the Harrogate Home and Gift Fair – The Editor’s Pick Award and Best Design Led Gift 2014 for the ‘Baby’s 1st Christmas’ Scrabbley Picture Frame.
At the beginning of 2014, Bexy Boo products were stocked in just five retail outlets, six months later the ranges are available in more than 70 shops across the UK. These retail outlets include the renowned department store, Fenwicks and a number of florists and specialist gift shops from Margate on the south coast to Glasgow in Scotland.
The rapid growth has allowed the company to expand and the team has grown to include four agents working across the country. Back in Cheshire, the team fulfils the orders from the agents, as well as managing requests from the website, Twitter profile and Facebook page.
