The 50-strong choir, which has been performing since 2006, is run by a group of choir volunteers. Rehearsals are held in the hospice chapel every Monday during term time from 7p, to 9pm. Rehearsals are led by Kath Ibbotson who has taught music in Macclesfield for 40-years.

The repertoire ranges from folk songs to modern musical numbers and pop-style classics. Songs are arranged in simple 2-part harmony or the more challenging 3- and 4-part harmony.

There are no auditions; the only requirement is an enjoyment of singing and anyone interested  contact the secretary, Charles Mackay, on 01625 614162.
