Tickets for the Cheshire County Show 2014 are on sale now through the e-ticket service on the show’s website www.cheshirecountyshow.org.uk/tickets and there’s never been a better time to buy in advance as ticket prices have been held at last year’s price.
“We started using the E-ticket system at last year’s show and found it to be much more convenient for visitors to the show as they can print off their own ticket and it is also more environmentally friendly.
The show celebrated its 175th anniversary last year and the number of visitors to the show continues to soar. In recent years we have seen the attendance at the event, held at the Tabley Showground, at over 80,000 people, making it one of the most well established agricultural shows in the country.
As well as the stunning spectacle of seeing thousands of animals including livestock, horses and dogs in competition, other attractions this year will include the amazing ‘Sky Swing’ from Kidsgrove which will give stunning views of the whole show ground and a horse whisperer from Cornwall who will be on hand to deal with any equine issues.
Regular attractions at the show also include the Sainsbury’s Agri-Centre, Roberts Bakery Food Hall and Food Live Theatre and a Countryside Experience area. Creamline Dairies will also be a main ring sponsor for the first time ever this year.
“Once again we are planning for an action-packed Cheshire County Show to celebrate what is great about farming and the countryside in the county,” said Nigel Evans, Executive Director of the Cheshire County Show. The Show is a fantastic event come rain or shine!”
