Birthday Girl
It’s a pleasure to bring you my very first monthly ‘social scene’ column and, as usual, my year got off to a hectic start with birthday celebrations, charity events and …. just our normal busy family life!

We celebrated my step mum’s BIG birthday a few weeks ago at their beautiful home in Cheshire along with a few close friends and family members. As always, the food was amazing; champagne flowed and the night ended up with a singsong!
Kay’s present was a luxury trip to hotter climates, so they jetted off for a few weeks in the sun.
Manchester United Legends
I attended the premier of the film, Busby, recently with my family. My dad participated in the film that is dedicated to the late Sir Matt Busby – one of United’s greatest managers,

Busby founded the iconic Busby Babes team, eight of whom died during the Munich Air Disaster. He then rebuilt the team and went on to clinch thirteen pieces of silverware across a career that spanned a quarter of a century.
The film combines previously unseen archive footage and interviews with those who knew the man best.

We bumped into the Crerand’s during the evening, so we arranged a ‘get together’ at dad’s house for a good catch up.

Paddy Crerand and Willie Morgan, two Manchester United Legends, reminisced about the ‘old times’ for hours, whilst I caught up with Paddy’s daughter, Lorraine. We were at school together at Loreto Convent. The evening was a great success, and another is already being planned! New Website Launch

Boss Model agency has just launched a brand new website and I am delighted to say my daughter, Jess, has joined the ‘Boss family’ as one of the new faces in the company’s development programme. Exciting times are ahead for Jess Morgan
Charity
I am so proud to be a patron of Beechwood Cancer Care Charity alongside Sally Dynevor, from Coronation Street, Shay Given and Jenny and Lee Boardman.
It is a local charity offering support to those living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. It also offers support to their families.

It first began offering cancer care back in 1990 and, since then, the Centre has helped many thousands of people. They recently launched ‘The Butterfly Donor Tree’ which has pride of place in the beautiful Beechwood Garden and was made by Simon Mainprize.
Built from handcrafted walnut, the tree has beautiful leaves and butterflies that can be purchased as gifts and can be engraved with the name of any person you choose.
