Crewe-based photographer, Johnathan Clover, of Cloverleaf Images has been accepted by Google to become one of an elite group of “Google Trusted Photographers”. By being part of this programme, Johnathan can now take ‘Google Business Photos’, a service recently provided to Crewe Lyceum allowing the public to look inside the theatre online.
The new concept by Google essentially takes their “street view” indoors and allows the public to look inside a business, enabling them to walk around, explore and interact with a business like never before.
Johnathan told us “I am delighted to be one of the few Google trusted photographers in the North West. It’s a great opportunity for businesses to show off their facilities – for instance, in shops customers can browse the merchandise, in salons they can have a look at the treatment rooms, and for accommodation they can see the bedrooms.”
“Another great feature of these tours is that there is only a relatively small, one-off fee to have the tour photographed, with no ongoing charges or hosting fees to have them in place across the Google platform. Businesses can then embed the tour into their own website or social media platform.”
Johnathan’s recent project has enabled the Crewe Lyceum theatre to show off its fantastic new look.
Gemma Whalley is marketing manager at the Crewe Lyceum “We initially approached Cloverleaf Images to produce a virtual tour for our recently refurbished theatre. Market research had shown that many previous customers were not aware of the vast improvements made when the theatre changed management. Cloverleaf are also Google accredited meaning that our virtual tour would be present on Google maps, obviously giving us fantastic exposure on the world’s biggest search engine. The finished product is fantastic and captures the theatre’s beauty and elegance in its entirety, a feat not managed by a simple photograph.”
