The under-15 girls won all their games convincingly to lift the prestigious title. King’s beat Ellesmere College, 10-1; Rydal A, 16-0; Rossall, 11-2 and Rydal B – Won 17-1.

Captained by playmaker Rachel Catlin, who also plays for top Northern club Sheffield Stormers, the team has an outstanding work ethic and a passion for the game.

Rachel, who is pictured in the foreground, said: “I think it helps that we are all great friends and love coming together as a team. We are strong in all departments, goal keeping, defence, midfield, attack and shooting. We were actually a little surprised by the margin of the wins, we face some tougher opponents in the Macclesfield League.”
