LYMM Golf Club is joining the drive to encourage more people in Cheshire to give golf a go.
The club is holding a free taster session aimed at ladies who may have thought about trying the sport, but had never done anything about it.
The session will be held on Sunday, April 28 (1.30pm-4.00pm) and is suitable for ladies of all ages who are looking to try something new, increase their fitness and extend their social network.
Says Lady Captain Sheila Byrne: “Whether you are an absolute beginner or a novice, have never picked up a club before or have some basic knowledge, come down and see us. You will be made very welcome.”
The taster session follows a similar scheme last year, which proved very popular and led to several ladies following up their initial interest in golf.
Those taking part will be able try their hand at putting and chipping in a relaxed and friendly environment with tips and advice from club members and club PGA professional Steve McCarthy.
Equipment and refreshments will be provided.
