Paul Beattie, who runs Stockport based motorcycle training business, Inner Circle Training, is the first in the North West to complete a course which will transform the motorcycle training industry in the UK.
Now riders can select a training business which is accredited by the recently established Motorcycle Industry Accreditation Centre (MCIAC).
MCIAC was set up last year by the UK’s Motorcycle Industry Association, and its courses are quality assured by the highly respected Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
They are endorsed by the government agency in charge of driving and riding standards Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
The course Paul took will help to make 21st century teaching methods more widespread and raise expectations of customer service for motorcycle learners, with every customer being surveyed after his or her training.
Through MCIAC, the UK is leading the way in Europe by creating a framework to measure the way motorcycle training is delivered.
Inner Circle Training will become part of a network of motorcycle training businesses in the UK featured on a dedicated website to be launched later this year. www.innercircletraining.co.uk
