Two popular Knutsford businesses are combining their respective talents for a new initiative designed to create the ultimate nightspot for their clients to meet, eat and socialise – all under one roof. Peter Pickering met the two management teams behind ‘Parma at the Amber Lounge’.
At a time when many town centre businesses are under pressure, it really is refreshing to talk to two teams of forward thinking business owner/managers who are enthusiastically striving to develop their business activities by listening to feedback from their customers and, more importantly, who are prepared to use that feedback to assist them in enhancing the services they offer.

But the Regent Street restaurant doesn’t have a late licence “This means we are unable to serve our clients after 9.00pm” owner Marco Dellapina explained “Some of our clients want to eat later, particularly at weekends.”
Amber Lounge, on Malt Street has long been recognised as a stylish night venue and bar for those seeking an amazing night out in Knutsford.
“Our customers want to stay here for a full night of entertainment and socialising” said Amber Lounge’s bars manager, Callum Murphy, “And now they will be able to eat here at any time they wish throughout the evening without leaving the party atmosphere”.
The two businesses are now collaborating to provide their clients with all they will need to enjoy a perfect night out with great food and entertainment in luxurious and sophisticated surroundings through to the early hours.
Parma is opening a second restaurant in the first floor bar and restaurant area at Amber Lounge. Open from Thursday to Sunday each week, Marco’s team will be providing their highly acclaimed Italian cuisine throughout each evening up to 2.00am Thursday to Sunday.
‘Parmaat the Amber Lounge’ launched on Thursday July 25 and is now set to become one of the top places ‘to be seen’ in this part of Cheshire.
