Prestbury WI Autumn Fair

Prestbury WI held an Autumn Fair in the Village Hall for the first time recently.

A variety of stalls selling home produce, crafts, bric a brac and books were put together by the WI members themselves.

Other community organisations contributed to the event in an effort to boost their fundraising.

Prestbury Youth Club held a raffle and Wilmslow High School sent pupils to sell products they had designed and put together as part of a business study project.

The money the pupils made through the event would be donated to East Cheshire Hospice.

A representative from the Alzheimers Society were also in attendance as were Ruth Moyes Crafts, and  Banana Lane Tshirts.

Visitors to the event were able to socialise and sample home made cakes with their refreshements.

Prestbury WI would like to thank everyone who attended and its members who supported the event.
