Remembrance Service at Terra Nova School

Pupils from year-1 to year-8 paid their respects during the school’s two minute silence for its Armistice service.

Pupils gathered for an assembly in the PAC to sing hymns, and an address was given by deputy head, Richard Lynn.

Armistice Day at Terra Nova SchoolThe poems ‘Vitai Lampada’, ‘For the Fallen’, and ‘In Flanders Field’ were read, after which the school’s chamber choir sang Ave Maria.

Headmaster Mark Mitchell led the school in prayers and bursar, Hayley Jordan, read out the Roll of the Fallen of Terra Nova School.

All pupils then took part in a two minute silence, followed by an act of commitment from head girl, Tallulah Goldsmith, and an exhortation by head boy, Max Rosser.
