Walkers are invited to join this year’s Starlight Walk for East Cheshire Hospice through the grounds of Capesthorne Hall on Friday, April 25.
This year’s walk has been designed to be family-friendly with gates open at 6.30pm and walkers setting off at 7.30pm so children can join in more easily. Bookings are now welcome.
Organiser Camilla Crockett said: “We’ve been running the walk for six years and it’s our flagship sponsored event. People come for all sorts of reasons.”
The route is a 2.5km circuit through the woods, and walkers can opt for one circuit or the longer options of 5km or 10km.
Taking part costs £15 for adults and £10 for children, and every participant will get a special festival goody pack including a T-shirt, sponsorship form and a tribute square to write on the names and memories of loved ones.
