Rokit Performing Arts is the funkiest performing arts school in Cheshire. Based in Knutsford it provides young people aged 4 to 18 with professional training in the core principles of performing arts; acting, dancing and singing. Rokit Performing Arts isn’t just for aspiring performers, but for children who just want to have fun, make friends and be a part of something special. Principal, Victoria Thomas is the face of Sofa Carpet Specialist SCS and can be seen regularly on TV!
The syllabus is designed to build confidence, enhance fitness and encourage children to work as team. Aspiring young performers are also given the diverse training that is required to become a professional performer.
Rokit Pop classes are inspired by pop music, TV, music videos and cinema. Students will learn a pop song, a dance in the style of a music video and an acting piece taken from popular children’s TV shows and soaps.
Rokit Theatre classes are inspired by a variety of hit musicals and include theatre songs, dance moves and acting scenes fromWest End and Broadway shows.
lasses provide children with an exciting and professional approach to performing arts in a caring and creative environment and are split into 3 age groups: Freshman 4-6 yrs Sophomores 7-11yrs and Seniors 12-18yrs.
Rokit students can be put forward for professional work in TV shows and commercials and fashion shows. We are one of only a few independent schools to have Spotlight membership.
The fees make the performing arts accessible to everyone. Rokit aims to be the most competitively priced performing arts school covering areas such as Knutsford, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow, Northwich, Altrincham, Hale and Lymm.
