US-based Medline Industries is the largest privately owned medical supplier in the industry and has taken a 10-year lease on 7,000 sq ft at Booths Park 5 in Knutsford.
Medline’s arrival in Knutsford will bring new jobs to the town as it relocates its UK sales team and other administrative positions from other sites, to the development. Medline Industries is a $5 billion turnover company based in Illinois which manufactures and distributes healthcare and surgical products. In October, global credit card provider Mastercard agreed a 10-year lease for 6,000 sq ft. This development, which houses more than 1,300 workers in 200,000 sq ft across eight buildings, is based in 220 acres of parkland providing customers with a semi-rural office location complete with fishing lake, cricket club, cycle and running routes, and even a farm.
Since Bruntwood bought and refurbished the development in 2004, Booths Park has been a popular location for firms of every size, from large firms spread across two floors, to SMEs and hotdeskers, with almost 70 businesses located in the Park.
MP for Tatton, the RT Hon George Osborne, visited Bruntwood’s Booths Park development on Friday and welcomed the site’s newest customer.
