The Wilmslow Business Group has announced the details of this year’s Motor Show showcasing luxury, executive and sports cars to be held on Saturday 7th September.
The Wilmslow Motor Show pop-up concept and design is by Steve Kennedy of Mail Boxes ETC. who commented: “We are delighted that Etihad Airways is sponsoring the Show for the second time. We are also very pleased that A-Plan Insurance are co-sponsoring the event, as part of their desire to get involved with the Wilmslow community; and that Wilmslow Town Council are supporting the marketing of this event.”
The 2013 show will be even bigger and better than last year. Wilmslow town centre will again be transformed for the day into a hotbed of high-end luxury cars. Different dealerships will be exhibiting their cars down the middle of Grove Street, the main pedestrianised street in Wilmslow.
Amongst the many cars on show there will be Morgan, Lotus and Ginetta; and there will also be Ducati motorbikes.
There will be a supercar parade with paddocks to view the cars in the parade. Local racing car driver Oli Webb will be down for the day with locally manufactured BAC Mono – the nearest to an F1 car on the road. A-Plan Insurance are providing an F1 simulator onBank Square. There will also be the opportunity to have a ride around the streets of Wilmslow in a supercar, in return for a donation to charity.
